定義: A code-mixing term that native Hong Kongers use when they want to illustrate a point from a certain person’s role, but without much emphasis on what it means to be in that role entirely.
用法: E.g. 或者只係as一個消費者去against for尊重及權益：呢個只係好first step嘅抗議。我地有權維護自己利益，再而就罷買 (Or just as a consumer to against for respect and rights - This is just a very first step protest. We have the right to uphold our own interests and then boycott as a consumer.)

定義: A code-mixing term used by native Hong Kongers to refer to acting or speaking appropriately rather than being logical in the technical sense. Also, it usually implies having a good level of spiritual maturity in addition to basic common sense so that one does not say or do stupid things that is disrespectful to others.
用法: E.g. 睇完艾力訪問姜濤，講嘢都好sensible，其實佢個人真係唔差，心地善良 (After watching Eric's interview with Keung To, I thought his words were very sensible. In fact, Keung To is not really that bad of a person, but is kind-hearted.)

定義: A code-mixing term that Hong Kong restaurants love to use especially during public holiday to refer to the additional fee added to a bill because it sounds more classy than '服務費' and less explicit than '加一' or '加二' in Cantonese, which mean +10% and +20% respectively.
用法: E.g. A: 吓？食個下午茶都要加二？ B: 今日係新年假期，所以有service charge。(A: What? There's +20% service charge even for an afternoon tea? B: Today is Chinese New Year holiday so there is service charge.) E.g. 到底邊個發明加一服務費？(Who on earth invented +10% service charge?)

定義: Ball是指舞會，通常在酒店或大酒樓舉行既宴會，禮貌上是要盛裝出席，我們畢業禮上的prom也可以叫Ball，傳統上同學都會穿著tuxedo或禮服以示尊重。隨時代變遷，宴會的內容簡單化了，穿著隨便些也不是大問題，反正現在的人都轉投去了移民講座，重Ball乜鬼？(Ball refers to dance party, held in a hotel or large restaurant banquet, which we politely attend dressed. A graduation prom can be called Ball, and students wear tuxedo or dress to show respect. As times change, the banquet has simplified, and dressing casually is not a big problem. Anyway, people nowadays have switched to immigration lectures, why go to a ball?)
用法: 我今晚去Ball, 下午去Révére set頭。(I'm going to a ball tonight, so I'm going to Révére this afternoon to get my hair styled.)
