定義: A code-mixing term used by overseas educated Hong Kongers to refer to experiencing culture shock after returning to one's own place of origin, which can be even more shocking than culture shock itself.

用法: E.g. 住咗英國咁多年再返幾個禮拜香港，其中幾個比較明顯嘅Reverse Culture Shock: (After living in the UK for so many years then returning to Hong Kong for several weeks, here are some of the more obvious reverse culture shocks:) (1) 入茶餐廳要搭檯，唔夠10秒已經問你食乜 (When entering a cha chan teng restaurant and sharing a table, the waiter will ask you what to eat in less than 10 seconds.) (2) 商場冇人幫後面頂住道門，好多人就咁攝入閂緊嘅門 (There is no one to help opening the door for the person behind them in the shopping malls. Many people just squeeze in through the closing door.) (3) 斑馬綫好少車會主動停低 (Very few cars stop for pedestrians at zebra crossings.)
